PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED SALE OF CITY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Idaho City Council will conduct a public hearing on August 12, 2026, at 6p.m. at City Hall, 511 Main Street, Idaho City, Idaho, to receive public comment regarding the proposed sale and conveyance of certain City-owned real property commonly known as the Idaho City Fire Station property to the Idaho City Fire Protection District. The proposed sale price is One Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand Dollars ($127,000.00).
The Idaho City Council made a formal Declaration of Intent to Convey the Property by motion during its regular City Council meeting held on July 22, 2026.
The property proposed for conveyance is described as follows:
EXHIBIT A – LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY
An approximate 1.00 acre parcel, identified by the Boise County Assessor’s Office as Parcel Number RP100000266089, located at 3861 Hwy 21, Idaho City, ID, 83631, with a mailing address of P.O. Box 130, Idaho City, ID, 83631.
With a legal description as follows:
Ic T6n R5e Sec 26, 198 Ft. Hway Frontage, OR Tax 105B, Id City Fire Station
At the public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to appear and be heard regarding the proposed sale. Written comments may also be submitted to the Idaho City Clerk prior to the hearing.
Following the public hearing, the City Council will consider whether the property is needed for public purposes and whether the proposed sale is in the best interests of Idaho City, consistent with applicable Idaho law. The conveyance under consideration involves the property commonly known as the Idaho City Fire Station property.
