Mores Creek Sub #2 Partial Water Disconnect Notice


The City of Idaho City Public Works will be working on the city's main water line in Mores Creek Subdivision #2 to address the freezing lines in the winter. The city will need to disconnect the main line during the work hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Thursday for the next couple of weeks until the lines have been properly fixed. The work will begin on Tuesday October 4, 2022. This will only affect a certain area of Mores Creek Subdivision, most likely less than 10 homes. Idaho City Public Works apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel to contact city hall.

City of Idaho City is accepting letters of intent for Parks and Recreation Commission positions.


Qualifications: It is desirable for all members of the commission to have a demonstrated interest, competence, or knowledge of parks and recreation management, development, operation, design, usage, or maintenance. The Mayor and Council shall endeavor in good faith to appoint at least two (2) members with professional training or experience in the disciplines of architecture, urban planning, landscape, engineering, law, management, or other related disciplines.
