Idaho City Police Department Mission Statement

The mission of the Idaho City Police Department will be to protect and serve the public and the citizens of Idaho City by preventing crime and disorder, and safeguarding lives and property. Law enforcement is a vital part of the criminal justice system. Law enforcement agencies to include Idaho City Police Department are expected to follow a Code of Ethics that reflects the responsibilities of contemporary policing but adheres to the rich culture and tradition of Idaho City, Idaho.
