DRINKING WATER PROBLEM CORRECTED

Customers of Idaho City Water Dept. were notified on 3/12/2025 of a problem with our drinking water and were advised to Boil Water for Drinking/Cooking. We are pleased to report that the problem has been corrected and that it is no longer necessary to Boil Water for Drinking/Cooking. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

On Thursday March 27th The Idaho City Public Works Dept located a substantial leak in our system and was able to stop the loss of water and restore the level in our storage tank to an appropriate level. We are continuing to search for other potential causes of water loss and will remedy those as they are located.

As always, you may contact City Hall at 208 392 4584 with any comments or questions.
