The City of Idaho City is accepting letters of intent for a vacant Planning and Zoning Commission position. Applicants should have a demonstrated interest, competence, or knowledge of planning and zoning.
The Idaho City Planning and Zoning Commission is responsible for performing the duties set forth in the Local Land Use Planning Act and City Code and to make decisions, subject to appeal to City Council, or to make recommendations to the City Council on a wide range of matters of planning and community development including:
- Conditional use permits.
- Variances.
- Appeals from decisions by the Planning and Zoning Administrator regarding building permits.
- Review and Amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
Written letters may be dropped off at City Hall during business hours of Mon-Thur. 8am-4:30pm, & Fri. 9am-3pm, sent to City Hall at PO Box 130, Idaho City, ID 83631 or emailed to [email protected]. Thank you.
